WGPR Episode 1
This is the first attempt to do an “all-music” show. If you enjoy it please let me know and maybe we can do more of this in the future. Keep in mind that my bitrate is not really music quality, so if you enjoy the songs you might want to visit the artist’s website for a better copy of it. Or better yet buy the CD that the song is on so you can listen to all the other cool music on it. All the songs in this episode are available as MP3 downloads or streaming on the various artist’s websites. So honestly, go check them out.
Carrie Dahlby - Everything’s a Song, Leslie Fish - Banned From Argo, Possible Oscar - Talk Nerdy To Me
The Great Luke Ski - Star Wars Trilogy Homesick Blues, Brobdingnagian Bards - Jedi Drinking Song, Beatnik Turtle - Star Wars (A Film Like No Other), Tom Smith - Five Years, Phoenix - Bang Today

Thanks… Yesterday when I was “powering up” in Guild Wars (still doing pre-searing quests) I had WGR as the background music and while I recognised many songs from FUMP, Song of the Day or other sources, I discovered some “new” songs. Five Years has to be the best B5 compilation I know of.
I’m really looking forward to further shows like these. The “themes” for the blocks of music also were great. Definitely something to keep.
Just one point… You might want to limit shows to 74-80 minutes. I know that many people listen to shows on (audio) cd players and if they don’t have mp3 support the show won’t fit.

Thank you for the great Radio. Being here in the Dominican Republic I dont have many ways to “get my geek on” but this podcast and the music helps me to have my daily fix. Also if you continue on with this segment I wont be one to complain. Take care and have a wonderful day. Skyler
